I am going to try to get some burl veneer & wood work done on my center console & center dash.
I'm running into trouble removing the center dash.
I removed the two bottom screws, radio knobs & knob backings... but nothing seems to want to lift or move.
The radio burl plate is still on - I figure this is probably the problem. It doesn't want to seem to slide off. Any thoughts on this? Do I need to force the radio burl plate off first? If so, should the dash center just lift up to come off of the top hinge plate thing?
Thanks!

If i remember correctly, there should be 4 screws on the bottom and a couple of nuts on the radio shafts. Two of the screws on the bottom take a shorty phillips head to remove if the console is in place. Radio plate will come off and then the center dash lifts up from the bottom. Center dash is hung form the top much like a french cleat on a cabinet.
