I am redoing my front buckets and rear seat and the springs are a little rusted and tarnished. I plan to bead blast them and repaint them before I put the padding and cover back on. Is there a stock or correct color for these springs? I know they are not visible, but I am trying to keep everything as close to as it came from the factory.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. Also one more question, does anyone know of a website that has all the correct paint colors for engine bay, underneath, interior, etc... I found one for first gen camaros, but have gone through 15 pages on google and not found one for firebirds.
Bill Hirsch... http://www.hirschauto.com/ they have correct paint for First Gen FB Pontiac engines...I went to the almost final page for you as its hard to work your way thru their site...but if you want to try .. 1=paint 2= engine 3= once you have quarts or aerosol, theres a white "bar" to the right, thats where you scroll (done for this to 'black', then scroll in that bar to correct make and year ,with spray/aerosol) http://www.hirschauto.com/prodinfo.asp?number=EEA-SPRAY&variation=PON%20MET%20BL
The color info for the 1st Gen Camaro is pretty good for Firebirds. They were built on the same assembly lines.
