I'm surprised this hasn't received more press, but I guess most people just wrote it off as a side effect of his Alzheimers. Still, pretty amazing to hear him say it, particularly his thoughts about W. Reagan's Diary Revelation
well, since the press is so left wing it wouldnt want this to become real news, a left winger turning right then , left...shows no direction at all.........imo ,it would detract from their grand party.....
This post is from the Free Wood Post, which in case you don't know is a satirical online publication (like the onion). They take something that is true and add other stuff which is pretty farfetched. An example of other articles on the site have headlines such as..."Santorum: Mexicans are 'lazy losers who don't belong in our country'" and "Mitt Romney Scores Important Dick Trickle Endorsement" and also "Justice Thomas Declares His Own Marriage Unconstitutional." Clearly meant as a joke. There are just enough kernels of truth (like some of the parts of Reagans journal entries) to give some weight to things like Reagan voted for Gore over Bush. Gotta be careful of your sources.
This was taken from another article in the Free Wood Post where it was said that Sanford Police were using the publicity of the Treyvon Martin case to get some help with an old case involving a satanist murder. Notice the name of the officer who is quoted... "From there, Detective Clanman’s investigation quickly ran ashore.
“I assumed that it must have been Islamic terrorists since they’re the ones always cutting people’s heads off, and on the truck, written in blood, it said, ‘die Satanist scum,’” Detective Clanman stated.
“But after I rounded up all the Islams [sic] I could find, the judge said I had to let them go on account of them all having rock-solid alibis for the time of the murder,” Detective Clanman explained. “So then I rounded-up a couple of black homosexuals who live nearby ‘cause I figured they must have been involved, but they had alibis too, and so now I’m fresh out of leads.”
Geez, that April Fool's joke sure fell flat on its face!! Ahh well, thanks Bjorn for trying, I'll have to come up with something better next year. Happy day after April Fools, everyone!
I read it but figured I would get linched if I said anything. Thought was odd that he would make that quote in 200? I thought he was pretty incapacitated at that time.
He was a great President and the right man to end the cold war.
