I found a back seat for my car last weekend (finally) that I dont need to recover.
I was told the top portion gets a bolt in each side when put in the car. Can someone please show me what the bolt and washer assembly looks like on their car and what size to get. It does not have to be original to the car...just something to get the job done.
The back seat (vertical piece) is attached at the bottom of the seat. There are 2 brackets that extend out of the rear seat to meet with the sheet metal in the car. The top of the seat fits over a 2 hooks on the sheet metal. You need 2 bolts with washers.
I believe you need two of these...

The bolts on mine are longer and look thinner and the washers are larger, say 1 3/4-2 inches and have very small holes (to just fit the bolts)
This is a good description of the originals.
