I think it speaks really bad on cheap, cheesy guys...that IF you take a prostitute to your room (in a country where its legal) , for Gods sake pay her! It wasnt a lot of money ($50??) and it was 'all night'...For some cheap guy not owing up to his 'obligations' (which he evidently obligated himself for ,as he took her to the room), the whole secret service organisation is getting a bad name......

I don't view anything they did as "on their own time" They were on official business in a foreign country perparing for an offical presidential visit.
IMO, there is no "off time" for SS agents in that environment.

All jokes aside, just because they're hotties doesn't mean they could not present a threat to the President.

preparing for an official visit, (as this was days before Obama was to be there), sure they have 'own time', they are not on 24/24 hr duty...like sleeping or 'after hours' work...only when guarding the president they are on full time when around him or the family

just as I would regard Clinton be 'off the clock' at night in his bed....and if he had a mistress there would not upset me as much as him doing it in the Oval office ,during "work' hours, even though the President never is really off the clock...and again , I may be wrong, its just my opinion.

and if I had a mistress at home at night ,wife gone...it would be my business, but if I had her in my office , during the day , it becomes my employers businness!

I have to disagree with you Bjorn, SS agents do not have off time while on any offical business trips.
SS is different than any other security force.

That's like telling a soldier he's only on duty in his fox hole from 8-5.

Soldier at war is different from soldier in Peace-time or at base...having been in the military myself, we soldiers ( when at base) were off after 5 alot of the time , but some times we had all nighters or late nights...or maneuvers for weeks....while off duty , but in uniform you had to be fairly careful, but off duty and in civilan clothes , you were "off duty"....and I think that SS officers out "on duty" but ahead of the situation ,just there 'setting up' would be off duty after hours....again ,just my opinion...and we can agree to disagree

All federal Agents are considered "working" 24 hours per day. They are required to and are paid extra to be able to respond at all hours. Each and every pay check there is a 25% of base pay extra as availability pay. So when you are on government trip, you are working all the time and are expected to follow codes of conduct.

No one with 'security clearances' should have sex with or intimate relations with any foreign national as they may become victims of extortion or blackmail in exchange for classified information.

This is what is called a 'security risk' where classified information is subjected to being compromised.

Any such activity ESPECIALLY by someone in possession of information regarding the Presidents itinerary, etc., is grounds for dismissal..

I don't think this 'string of embarrassments' of many agencies (CIA, GSA, SS, ATF, DOJ, etc) is a coincidence. Sounds like a well-orchestrated effort to undermine the integrity of the 'American system' if you ask me.. That is more chilling than the individual incidents themselves.

Russia is NOTORIOUS for hiring pretty women as spies to get information from unsuspecting men, even in other countries. They can plant listening devices on briefcases, spike drinks, steal documents, and worst of all blackmail or extort their victim for information or money in exchange for keeping their mouths shut.
