So here is the question: I have a 69 convertible, MANUAL roof. I have a Tonneau Cover purchased from Classic Industries, When installed it looks pretty streched against the roof. The snaps arent even close to fitting.
What I am wondering is if the Manual Roof does not go down as far as the power roof? it just does not look right by the snap area and where it goes across back seat. There is no way I can pull the snapr ends deown close enough to fit.
Can anyone please also send me a few pictures of how theres looks installed to bmock@pft-alexander
Thanks Bernie

I cant's imagine the power top goes downs any further than a manual. They are certainly tight. The best thing is to install it in full sunshine in order to stretch it out.
Yes I am, I would love to see some pictures of how it is supposed to look when installed. Did it while warm out but it did not help. Would love to see a few pictures of how far down the sides of the manual top go down vs the power top

frame difference is only a brace in the "elbow" of the frame, has nothing to do with how far it goes down.... it seems they are all different on how far rthey go down...I have a 69 with manual top....but mine goes further down than all others I have seen.
I also have the 'boot' from Classic..(Tonneau covers are like Triumphs and other British cars have, where it covers the seating area but not like a roof , and you can zip up opening for driver only for instance ,rest is covered)
the boot is usually VERY tough to snap on, you got to pull hard, with the tip of your fingers. I usually start at the center , pull from the rear, work my way out to the edges...and sometimes one or two at the 'turn' doesnt snap in. I usually lift up the top some , fit the front area in under it behind the seats ,then snap it in.
I will stick a couple of pics in ramblings' as I cant post them here.
