I finally passed the safety inspection so I could Drive the car
The I am just having trouble with my Wipers, wiper transmission, and the motor.
I installed a new wiper motor almost a year ago but it wasnt wire up until about a week ago.
The wiper motor has power and all it just doesnt seem to work right. Whenever the motor moved the wipers (with my assistance) it makes a clicking sound inside the motor. When I disconnect the transmission, it still makes that click sound every time it goes through the cycle. The transmission was frozen but moves freely now (might need to replace it eventually but I can only get the wipers to move when i assit them.
Sound like something stripped inside the motor. Better off just getting another. No need for a fire for something like that. I've got a few extras if you need one.
Hey Bob, Thanks for the help. I just called up year one and told them about my problem. Although it has been over a year since I received the part, I explained my situation and they are going to send me a replacement as soon as they get more in (they are currently backorders
I still think I might need to change the wiper transmission.
