Ok stupid question time. I'm getting ready to have my vent windows rechromed. I have NOS handles and nuts from YEARS ago. So that's no big deal. SO, I attached an exploded view from the parts manual. Since I haven't looked at my windows ina very long time I wanted to double check which parts to have rechromed. Based on the diagram it looks like items 1 and 3 get rechromed. #13 is stainless (?). The cross brace, item 24 does not get rechromed. Or does it ???
Your other thread reminded me of this one. I took both my vent windows apart and all I had rechromed was Item #1 on your diagram.
