I'm trying to find a photo showing the trim/moulding that goes up the sides of the windshield on a Ford ZX2. I just had my windshield replaced, and what they put on looks totally wrong, but they won't fix it unless I can show them that what they put on is not correct.

Does anyone know of someone who has a Ford ZX2 with an original windshield in it that would be willing to take a picture for me? It does not matter what year or trim level, they were all the same.

A guy at work has one, I'll try to get you one tomorrow.

Jar, I can't help but ask, what happened to the trim that was on there before they replaced the glass? I don't understand the scenario here...

Earlybird: I have no idea what happened to the trim that was on it before, but they did not put it back on or it was integrated as part of the original moulding. What they put back on it is very different. I needed a bigger car, so I had traded with my Mom for a bit. She was trying to be nice and had it replaced because it was cracked. She had my car for a week after the work was done, so I did not see the car right after the windshield was replaced. Any parts that they removed were long gone. The place did take before and after pics, but they are terribly out of focus and you can't see the trim at all in them. I have had the car from new, and try to take good care of it, and often have to go out of my way to make sure it get's the correct parts used on it. The ZX2 was only made for 3 years in Canada, and they are getting rare and sometimes hard to find parts for.
