Finally back on the road. After a ton of work over the past few months that you can't see- 4 wheel disc brakes, suspension tweaks, steering box swap, new 3.55 posi, etc. - I treated myself to a new top and 15" redlines. [/img]
Thanks, I went with Right Stuff Detailing ( GetDiscBrakes.com ), their 4 wheel 68 camaro/Firebird kit, stainless lines and 9 inch booster. Kit was very complete, and they shipped the day after I ordered it.
Gus68 - You are so right, rebuilt 14 to 1 steering box makes a world of difference! Much heavier and solid feel, no dead area on top.

Desert...Was ready to pull the trigger on a set of 225 70 redlines for my 14x6 Rally 2s, but after seeing photos of your car, I'm thinking that it might be worthwhile to move up to 15 inch wheels. What size are those tires? Your set-up looks absolutely perfect to me!
Do you get much rub with those 15"s? If not what are you using for suspension?

God Bless the men and women past and present that have served this country. Thank you. Support D.A.V. - it helps gives a life back to those who gave so much for us.....
Only get a very occasional rub on the left front when I hit a dip at speed. Suspension is all stock replacement, but had to have about 2" de-arched (lowered)on the rear springs. Looked too much like a camaro before I lowered the rear.
BFG 245 60 15 on the rear, 225 60 15 on the front. Bigger backspace than stock on the rear 8" rims got them tucked inside, if I remember correctly (big chore these days), it was 5" or 5.25.
