Anyone who is not very familiar with the Sprint motors, you gotta check out the latest Muscle Car Review at the newsstand. It's a very impressive motor!
1967 FB 400 4-speed A/C Tyrol Blue w/ Dark Blue 1967 GTO 400 AT A/C Gulf Turquoise w/ Black (dad's 1st car, my last car)
The motor in this one looks like a keeper. Unfortunately, the body needs some serious TLC.
I've got to get that issue of Muscle car! I have an old and tired Sprint but it still has that magical 'Sprint acceleration' (Sprints have fooled more than one V8 car owner who was brave enough to challenge one. Surprise! LOL)
The worst thing someone can do to a Sprint is swap out the motor for a V8.. That is a sacrilege! Not many are left and thank God we have guys here who are dedicated to preserving them.
This motor with a different body still makes a Sprint that's fun to drive. IMO, Sprints are more fun to drive than V8's. Can't quite put my finger on it but I think it has something to do with the smooth yet quick acceleration.
