Is that car an original 400 engine? If it is, there's no H.O on an original 400 car but available H.O on a Pontaic 350 car with factory 4 barell carb. only.
This is my old pic of '67 1/2 Firebird (7/27/67) w/ '74 Pontiac 400/400 on Jan 1st, '90. She had original Tyrol Blue Ext. with Std. Dark Blue Int., 326 2bbl, 4spd, 2 traction bars, 1 of 6,078 built in '67. I'm the current owner of '67 Firebird 400 coupe with original code F-400 Option, 1 of 22,636 built in '67 with rare T400. My brother & I picked her up and brought her to my new home. It's original eng. & trans. are long gone. Has factory K-Gulf Turquoise under primer, had Ivory vinyl top. Has factory RH traction bar w/ 3.08 gear, J-custom option with original Deluxe Parchment Int., has rare fold down rear seat. I'll look for a good running '67 400/400 when it's done. Check out my pics - Photobucket.com - Pat's 2nd '67 Firebird 400 Project 2/3/13
Read the 1st.post 68 standard , price lowered to 15thousand , 68 standard not a H/O . thanks
I already read that 1st post earlier but in your description didn't says "original 400" or "original 350 car" and I noticed H.O on the both white side stripes in your pics.

Non matching v8 coupes are not bringing much money here in the NE, you were very high to begin with. Any real offer really would have insulted you or gotten you angry... Been there. Looking for a numbers matching car here, they usually start around 2600 for big project to 4000...There's a 68 vert here for 7500 but some fishyness with title... You actually up against a few here... Don't part it out, too nice sell it as one, you part it out you really be busy with pulling things apart and waiting for people to show.... you be lucky to get 3000 for parts...Hang on to it, Pm me if you want to chat... Ron

Yup, The crappy lighting and pics of the side with the hood up are not very appealing. Is it on jackstands? They make it look like something needs work. I agree with Dr. Driveability...even though he doesn't know how to spell his name.

If you want to get anyone serious about $18,000, you really need to clean the car, move it outside, and take some new pictures. It looks terrible sitting in the garage all dusty with junk in it, around it and looking like it's sitting on jack stands not running.
