Had a bent axle, shop installed new axle and bearing. Months later the bearings have begun to howl. I figure the bearing failed because of the bent axle, which burnt the fluid, which caused the rest of bearings to fail prematurely. I'm working as a mechanic apprentice for a trucking company, so I have access to a press, that I think will enable me to do the job. Has anyone done this job?
