Hi, i just put my full floor pan inside the car this afternoon and i would like to have some tips to make sit in position correctly and to make sure it's straight. Where should i start pushing it down. Should i use the front leaf spring eye bracket to pull it down into place
This is the step i used laser levels. But yes start with the rear spring perches. then measure everywhere to ensure is level to the car , use the frame guide with plum bobs (pointy sinkers work well) and just get the tip of the plum bob to hit the laser datum line. mine came out within a 1/16 of an inch. i had it checked on the body jig down the street from me when i was finished.
