I have a 1968 firebird, I believe the dash has been switched out, but does anyone know what this knob/dial does? It seems to have three clicks, maybe low/med/high.

looks like a rear defogger switch. Do you have a electric fan in your rear deck between the speakers?

YEP! That's what it is! Thank you. I saw on the window sticker that it came with rear window defogger. It also said they added a clock, but there is not one in the dash, that's why I think the dash may have been switched out.

Looks like a heavily optioned car, also noticed the tilt.

Yes, the tilt comes in handy for an old fat guy like me getting in and out.

Very nice Bird Tony, no console, so I don't know where the clock would've been. Love the wheels and the rare bench seat as well.

Yes. And, if I recall, w/o a console it was floor mounted in about the same spot. If a 8-track was ordered you could not get a clock because they would occupy the same area.

Thanks Jeff, she's not as nice as your convertible, but I like her. The bench seat seems to not be too common, I haven't seen many like that.

Gent's here is one that also has a bench front seat. Tough to find a new cover because it is not common. Any idea who makes a new front bench cover?
