I have a 1968 Firebird 400 Air Ram 2 Clone. I have the arrow head on 15" Rally Rim 2 I would like to put the right center cap on. The car came with factory Disc Brake so should the centers say PMD or PMD Dics Brake on all four or just the front two. I can not find this info anwhere can someone help please. Stephen

Great - so the 5 used red arrow head center caps I just got off of the local CL along with three 15 inch Rally II wheels are indeed 2nd gen caps?????

I never seen PMD Disc Brake until I went on E-bay. I think the arrow head is third gen second is red letter with black background at the start then GM changed it to black letter with red background.
I believe the red background PMD caps started for 1969 models.
