I believe I have an aftermarket hood tach on my bird. Bought it that way. The needle doesn't want to go below 1500 rpm (even when shut down) but functions fine above that. Any suggestions on fixing? I'm running HEI and MSD Box. Thanks.
Might be binding or hitting something internally. But not always a good idea to open it up to look. Toss up there.
