Hello, I recently bought a project 69 400 coupe. I am curious of the correct path for the positive battery cable. Right now it is routed from the starter past the alternator down along a crossmember up to the battery. Looks terrible. Any info would be appreciated. I have a feeling this will be the first of many questions during the restoration. It looks like there is a wealth of knowledge here. Thanks.

Maybe an owner of a '69 can confirm that their's is routed the same. According to the parts book, all three years use a 61" cable. See: Group 2.342 http://www.thefirstgensite.com/library/partscounter/number/ele/ele2.html
