I have a pair of original rechromed (vacuum metalized) 67 bird deluxe interior pillar post moldings for coupe part numbers 7722671 & 2. These are the moldings that are slightly taller at the top to cover the ends of the metal over the door headliner trim pieces used on deluxe interior 67 birds. I sent these off to a place in texas and paid over $200 to have these redone. They call it vacuum metalizing, believe it is actually vaporized aluminum dust that looks like chrome on plastic. I wasn't happy in the least with the results for what I paid. The driver side is decent and could almost pass for a show car. The passenger side looks decent from a distance but when inspected closely you can see lines in the finish that almost look like primer edge break thru under a paint job. Anyways they would make a nice pair for a driver. $40 for the pair shipped. pictures at :
