I was happy with the aftermarket ones, but then I had an after market hood. I have a couple sets lying around, but they are in a storage unit 1250 miles away.

Did I ever sell you a set of 400 hood inserts? The reason I ask is that I used to have a set and I can't find them. I am thinking that I sold them to somebody but I can't for the life of me remember exactly what I did with them.
I don't recall getting them from you. I ordered a set and then ended up with another when I got the car from Canada.

GTO scoops are different. I looked into that a few years back. You also cannot interchange repop scoops with OEM hood and vice versa. (well I guess you could, but they look like h#ll...)

How bad is the repop fit, as I am thinking about getting the ram air kit from the parts place, and the open scoops are part of the package ?
WITH YOUR HELP !, trying to put back together a factory 1967 convertible 400/TH400, softray glass, pw, ps, pb, ac, console, clock, safeguard speedo, remote and visor mirror(s), hood and trunk lamps, and custom trim options.(Rally II rims and hood tach had been added). THANK YOU ALL for any help, opinions, and/or advice. I'M GONNA NEED IT !
Really bad. They fit like a glove into a repop hood, but they seem small when placed in a real hood. I guarentee you won't like the look. I sold and original set of inserts here a couple of years ago. Probably should have kept them.
