Just purchased a 69 for resotration and told the interior was a white parchment. Now, I see the dash is black, is the correct ? Also, what color would the headliner and carpet have been ? I did not check trim tag yet
I cannot vouch for authenticity of this car, and other photos reveal some missing/incorrect stuff, but I do see more white here than just the seats and door panels. White quarter trim and pillar trim are obvious. I'm not certain about headliner, but looking thru the windows it appears the headliner is also white. And repro headliners are available in white in the catalogs, if that means anything. And the package shelf? Appears it maybe be white on this particular car. Correct or no? I don't know...
Indeed carpet/dash are obviously black.
I do not claim to be an authority of any type on this originality subject, just an observation that I believe white might need to go beyond just seats and door panels, but I could very well be incorrect.
I really blew this one! You are correct and I was wrong. The quarter trim, pillar, headliner, and windlace molding are all white. I'm not sure about the rear package tray.
If the headliner is white/parchement, then the A pillar and sail panels are white. Mine has a black headliner with black sail panels and A pillars. My armrests are black, but have been told they need to be Pearl like the door panels and uphosltery.
It's looks to be about the pearl color, from what mine looks like I have the black boot for my car, one thing the boots are hard to get in place with the snaps that it uses over the chrome trim.
My '67 coupe had it's original parchment interior when I bought it. The rear package tray is black.
The total list is as follows:
White: Seat covers, seat backs, door panels, door arm rests, rear side panels and arm rests, ('67 only:) painted tops of door panels, headliner, front "A" pillar covers, rear sail panels and sun visors, rear coat hooks, all windlace moldings.
