I just spent $35 with PHS to make sure all the Numbers on my Firebird match. So far So good!!

My question is I have a 400 firebird with option #351. There was more then one transmission on that option. How can I find out what trans.came with the car? I don't see it in the paperwork they sent me. Am I just over looking it? THANKS RON

351 with the 345 "400" option got you the M-40, also known as Turbo 400. I have the same package.

find your axle ratio yet? 3.08 or 3.23, or 2.78 if the car has air conditioning.

Yes, it does have AC. I assume as of this minute until I can get back to the car and check, that it is 2.78.

As long as that's the original axle, you have the 2.78. It is nice on the freeway, though...
