this is info from a craigslist ad. a man is looking to be reunited with his long lost '67 firebird.
"Need some help, I have been looking for my old car a 1967 Firebird that I sold in the early 80's to a fellow named mike and then he sold it to a kid and his uncle. The car was on Long Island New York when all 3 of us owned it , I use to race the car at Jack in the Box in Centereach. The car when I sold it ( the trim tag should provide the info) was Verdoro Green,400,4 speed, black top, black buckets ,black interior, hood scoop and tach on hood from the factory it also had factory traction bars. When mike bought it the engine was blown and he put in a Chevy 350 with an automatic and had the car painted black,he then sold it in the mid to later 80's to a young kid and his uncle was with him.unfortunalty mike never registered the car and all I have was the old plate number 439BGM. I would really like to find it and had no luck for the past 4 years,so if you know of this car please contact me,I will pay a finders fee if the car is found. THANKS. Cell 949-795-1933"
