See, my thing about taking pictures to sell a car is, if you are going to take one of the interior why wouldn't you at least vacuum some of the crap up and maybe take everything out first? Or if you don't have the correct trim rings, don't take a close-up of the wheels. Aren't those front seatbelts supposed to be in retractors? I hate to nitpic but it just looks like a decent driver car.
Sleddog has been all over that one. Sounds like everyone should run the other way fast! Seller has no detailed information, just tries to sound like he does!

This seller sounds like the guy that claimed to have Nancy Sinatra vert about 6 months ago that was burgundy in color. Wonder what happened to that one ...I don't think it sold.

Yes, Craig (Sleddog) confirmed that a few days ago. That thread had all the links gone so I couldn't go back and review it. But I vaguely remembered the comment about the guy's bikini wife washing his car.

Well ...$27,766 for this one. The market is definitely confusing right now ...and the 67 400 vert at Mecum's last week that's significantly better only went for $34k.

I have an apology to make, I spoke with this guy again today, and he seems like a regular stand up guy. He was helpful and honest with me. I stand corrected in my judgement- seems like a good dude.
Viki/ Geoff, can this thread be modified or have my comments deleted?

Hey Guys, I drove this car and had a chance to check it out up close. It was a beautiful car and wonderful to drive. I wish I would have bought it, but I didn't move quick enough.
I also want to reiterate what Sleddog said above, the seller is a great guy, and very FGF knowledgeable. He has been very helpful, and a great resource to me in my pursuit of finding a 400 vert 4-speed car.
Hmmm...mine has a wide ratio 4spd with 3.36 Could a close ratio be ordered? NICE car though.
Yes, a close ratio could be ordered, my car has one.

I sold this car on eBay...I could have actually sold it for more money...I got offered 30k for the car by a guy (you know who you are) on this board. It sold for 27,600 a few months ago. New owner loves the thing. And did I get slapped? By who? You? Watch how you talk to people about a car you know nothing about.
No, not by me. I was wondering if it got removed by ebay for some reason other than being sold. Maybe "slapped" was the wrong term to use. All I know about the car is what I saw in the pictures that you posted with the advert. Never pretended I knew anymore than that. I generally do watch what I say and do. Thanks for the advice. A little touchy aren't we?
