So I installed the wiper arms today, and park seems to be in the up position. Luckily only one arm was on and barely caught the cowl.Question is is there a way to adjust the park position on the wiper motor assembly.
Disconnect the wiper transmission from the motor. Cycle the motor and let it park.
Now, you have two positions of the wiper transmission where it will reach the ball on the end of the wiper motor. 180 degrees apart - 1 position is correct, 1 is wrong.
I found that testing the wipers with Popsicle sticks taped to the ends of the wiper knobs was the best way to insure that I had it correct and did not destroy the cowl top.
