my 68's measure 6 inches and n41 variable ratio 69 measures 5.75 from lower bj cl to tierod cl if that helps what you were thinking about, I also have 72 nova that measures 6.25 inches. There seems to be lots of different lengths available if you go by the camaro steering post earlier.
No, what I have is a pair of steering arms in the POP that I wasn't quite sure what I took them off of anymore. There are PNs stamped on them so I should be able to figure it out by the numbers John posted.(Thanks John, I couldn't find them anywhere) I'll take a pic and see if anyone can match them to what's on their 68. The numbers on the left one are 3852254 GM20P The other is 3852253 GM20P
Good job on the pics H. Is this an 8 or 9? From a buddy, 67 disc are a different PN than 67 drums. Supposedly 68 disc/drum were the same and then 69 was different altogether. Saw a couple ebay ads last night that showed some like mine for 68Fbody but those guys don't know what the hell they're doing so I can't trust that. Seems to me I heard that they made longer ones for manual str cars and shorter ones for pwr cars but I think 9s are all the same. Still trying to match them up. Anybody else got pics(maybe one from a 7)? Did the 68s have the stops on the lower control arm to limit the steering travel?
After looking around a bit more it seems like this pair came off a 67-72 GTO, LeMans, Tempest. Igues they interchange with 64-66 Olds and some similar year Buicks. No idea how I came about owning them. Thanks for the help guys. Still curious to see what a 67 arm looks like.
