OK, now I am really sick of this (snow) crap!! It is snowing like a banshee again! Expecting 6"-12" by this time tomorrow!
When will it all end??
All the snow was gone around here two weeks ago. Last week we picked up a foot of snow over two days, about 80% of that melted, now THIS!!
Last year the ice was off our lake March 28. This year we'll be lucky for May 28.
I've had it!!

Norwegian researchers have revealed climate hoax, but the ties he ... During the past year, three Norwegian climate ran creases, Ole Humlum, Jan-Erik Solheim and Kjell Stordahl published several interesting results that show natural variations in the time series of temperatures from Greenland, Svalbard and certain other areas. The methods these climate scientists have used captures all kinds of mechanisms and also includes regular analysis based on sun, sea currents and winds. * * There are several interesting articles to read about these men's Climate Research on Web pages to www.forskning.no, but otherwise there is very little that has been published in the Norwegian press.
The press in Norway seems clearly that it is more profitable lookup purposes, to spread the dommedagprofetienen as Persnäs associated IPCC (IPCC) likes to spread out, rather than to convey the facts investigated by the Norwegian serious climate scientists. Norwegian climate research for the best. It particularly interesting in this case is that the three Norwegian climate scientists believe they have confirmed that it is the more than 1000 years of climate cycle that gave heat peaks in historic times as the Minoan, Roman and Medieval period, which is also marked in our time. This shows slow oscillations towards warmer periods, with intervening colder periods, such as the "little ice age", as well as the migration period, which is also known under the name "the dark age". This slow warming of our planet that has happened since the "Little Ice Age", is therefore mainly of our three Norwegian climate scientists, now explained as a natural phenomenon that can best relate to the sun.Nice to know is that just in our days the sun again inside one of its most prominent "grand maximum" since the last ice age. Worth noting is that these climate variations have no connection whatsoever with measurements of CO2 levels from ice cores in Greenland. On a shorter time scale, the three Norwegian climate scientists also confirm that the temperature variations in Svalbard is only a part of several cycles, including one of about 60 who are related to changes in the Gulf Stream (Multidecadal Atlantic Oscillation AMO) and Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO ).Their research results are also in line with the ocean current measurements in the Arctic Ocean that has been conducted in the context of a larger international project, where observations show that increased flow is towards a maximum around 2007/2008 and that there will then be a gradual reduction. Warming in the Arctic (and global) in recent decades is therefore caused by increased havinnstrømning. So what happened in the years 1920-1940 and also in 1860-1880 years when anthropogenic CO2 supply was fairly minimal compared to our days. Growing great international interest. The three Norwegian researchers' results have attracted considerable interest in leading international climate research, but meet only with head carving of "researchers" associated with the IPPC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change).
'All of the IPCC (Read. doomsday prophets) argues that the artificial phenomena is used only generated through mathematical methods, and that it is also for short time series to conclude.
The first argument is easily refuted by the fact that the periodicity can be found in several observations of the biosphere. The second counter-argument can be refuted by the fact that even a period of 4000 years in Greenland, is relatively short in geological context. Tallmatrialet our three Norwegian climate researchers based is on multiple time cycles that go considerably further back in time than the period of the IPCC's hypothesis (which in reality only based on the past 30 years heating period).
Norwegian climate research - no matter for the Norwegian press. The usual unscientific insinuation that people associated with the IPPC has made against the Norwegian scientists' research results are therefore both baseless and completely without substance. The Norwegian research results are scientifically well founded. But despite this, the Norwegian media has not found the media attention or politically correct to give these research results discussion. No Norwegian media seems rather to fråtsetuhemmet the more alarming (Read. more marketable) information that is consistent with the hypothesis that klimafrikerne associated IPCC sends to the table .. The silence has thus been more than striking from the Norwegian press side in this matter.
IPCC solution? Now a day there are many new tones to hear from IPCC camp, finally First up was Professor James Lovelock, a former well-known IPCC trailer and alarmist. He recently said that his predictions are mostly just had been rough extrapolations therefore no longer had any relevance. And he also included Al Gore's statement in the same category.
The professor and politician Fritz Vahrenholt, another known IPCC.tilhenger which is also very central to the German environmental movement, have also migrated and now become a sworn IPCC critic instead. This happened after he was individual referees for an IPCC report on renewable energy where a representative of Greenpeace had been instrumental in the preparation report was so full of unscientific value incorrectly states that the professor chose to withdraw from the IPCC report and the work on the spot.
Professor Paul Reiter is another. He works at the famous Pasteur Institute is a leading specialist in epidemiology and malaria. And likewise, Dr. Richard Landsea done as vartidligere head of the IPCC group of hurricanes. And last but not least, also the leading sea level expert Nils-Axel Mørner, pulled out of the organization ..
The above mentioned is a slightly rewritten and abridged excerpt of "summer letter" that Ole Henrik Ellestad, head of Klimarealistene sent to its members.
Wife just called to yet me know b4 leave'n for work water still come'n in. Be prepared for nother late nite. Been get'n bout 3 hrs sleep since Monday...or was it Tuesday...

My septic pump cannot disperse the liquids fast enough because the ground is so saturated that water is running back along the discharge pipe into the tank as fast as it can pump it out.. Pretty much a lake around my house.
By the way, the 18 gal pro series is a FANTASTIC machine for sucking up water- Highly recommend!

Wow and I had to come inside yesterday to put a hat on because I thought I was getting a sunburn on my bald head working in the yard. We're doing Kool April Nights in Redding tomorrow. Supposed to be in the mid to high 80s. They'll be in the 90s next week. Guess the snowboarding is done for this year unless I want to make a trip to MN.
Was supposed to have my 400 'vert in a skating show next weekend.
I can see that ain't gonna happen!

Alligators taste just fine, with or without Fluffy in his belly. The boas aren't an issue, all they want to do is cuddle. They're misunderstood. Hurricanes are just another reason to drink. I don't get excited until it's a category three.
Blossoms are out grass is emerald green, still could warm up some but beats snow!
As the great 70's Canadian comedians (McLean and McLean) sang as a Hymm, "Leave it over there Lord, Leave it over there, famine and destruction (and snow in this thread), leave it over there....."
So it's finally May 1st! And looking out my office windows, looks like Christmas will be here any day now.

I read last week that hundreds of geese froze to death up near Duluth a couple of weeks ago. The geese came back early this year, only to see another couple of months of winter up here.

Beautiful here today. It's a poster day for our Pure Michigan campaign. Supposed to be nice the rest of the week. My son is coming home this weekend for a week's leave and of course they are calling for rain the first half of next week!
14" of fresh snow just south of Minneapolis. Fortunately we were spared anything other than a few flurries last night. Windy and 45 for a high today.
