Do you, or can, take a pic of it? Maybe from the inside of the hood area looking down and back. I'm just trying to figure out how much different it is than the 4sp setup.
I don't know that you could tell them a part while still on the car since they are so simular. I can't seem to add the images to this post so take a look at them here.
I have both the manual for my car and the auto version for a past car but I am not sure I can lay my hands on them without a major expidition! Hope this helps.
It's hard to make out the rod position from the tiny inset pic. It looks like it may connect to the end of the shifter cable. I was just trying to determine if the rods themselves ran in the same area for 4sp and auto for header application. Most say the LO rod must be removed or modified. Just trying to get my head straight before I get there.
When you go to the first link find a tab labeled "actions" at the upper left of the pic. Select all sizes from the drop down and you will go to a page where you can select the largest size. The inset pics should be easy to see then.
