Quick question.. How/where is the fuel sending unit wiring routed as it approaches the tank? Upon reassembly, my gauge does not work, and I don't see any obvious wiring near the tank.
If memory serves, the fuel tank sending unit lead comes off the rear tail light harness and passes through a hole in the trunk floor underneath the fuel filler pipe.
Similar to the lead to the license plate light.

The wire should pass through a rubber plug that seals the hole. I think there is a plastic disconnect at the harness.
