I am new to the forum and currently have a 67 hardtop that a restored about 20 years ago and on Saturday I picked up my next project and by what I have found from the Vin it should resemble the "First Generation Firebird" Icon/Clip art. I have a bunch of work ahead of me. The engine block does not appear to be a 400. Looks more like a 455 (Just guessing).
Any pointers for parts? Back when I did mine AMES performance was my main source. Looks like Classic might have a better selection now a days. Any pointers will be welcome. Should I want to locate a 67 400 block any idea where to find one?
Do I have to have a website in order to share pics?
Welcome. Ames is still by far my 1st choice. Classic Industries looks more impressive because they (unlike Ames) continue to peddle either Camaro parts as exclusive Firebird parts or bad reproductions. Their shipping costs are pretty high.
They also have frequent sales and it never fails that whatever you want to buy is an exception to the sale.
There are threads in the Intro How to Log In section that show how to clip photos without a photo storage website.

In that order. Classic has some parts no one else seems to have. But they are a PITA to deal with. And their shipping prices are OUTRAGEOUS! I have had really good luck with the first three. I read somewhere that Ames is under new ownership as of a couple of years ago, and service has gone downhill a bit since the change.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.
