While the 67 Firebird and Camaro consoles are alike - the 68 Firebird console is totally different from the other two.
They make really nice repros of the '67 F-body console now. Stick and autos use the same one with different center plates.

Fit, yes. Look right, no. The fgf body started life from a Camaro. (unfortunatly) But a BIG improvement over what they started with. Interiors are mostly interchangable.
As far as the console goes, you would need the 'Maro horseshoe shifter or butcher the top cover. All in all, I'd keep it fgf.

I have read in this forum that a 67 console wont fit a 68 because the shifter hits the console but I'm not sure if thats actually fact or not. I would rather have a 67 console. I think they look better. IMO
I'll take the '68 Burlwood over the '67 any time. As to the factual statement, I don't recall that being an issue. Manual and Auto needs to be accounted for but I don't think there was that significant of a difference sizing wise between '67 and '68.
