im installing the rear inner interior arm rest ash tray sections on my 69 rag top. I know the ashtray arm rest screw in same as the cover for the top mechanism. It the section that has the dew wipe and the hole for the window crank that has me stumped. does it just hook over the window opening, then is just held in place by the rest of the components trapping the bottom and rear of the section?
Bob, Here are the pictures of what you were looking for. My finger in the picture is where another screw hole is in the front. The two at the top are snap screws. middle ones are the collared screws. If you need any thing else, please let me know.
Also, did you check into that radio area on your parts car? thanks.
That red stuff at the bottom is padding under the vinyl where the vinyl is peeling up. That is tucked under the seat anyway and I am redoing these is parchment in the future.
I did , can you send me a pic of what you are missing? Just snap a pic of that overall section. If you're just looking for the holes that the radio knobs go through , I do have those. So the section that covers the window knob, just clips over the metal section and are trapped in place by these parts? that section has no screw holes or clips of any kind.
