A young man with his pants hanging half off his [censored], two gold front teeth, and a half inch thick gold chain around his neck; walked into the local welfare office to pick up his check. He marched up to the counter and said, "Hi. You know, I just H A T E drawing welfare. I'd really rather have a job.. I don't like taking advantage of the system, getting something for nothing."
The social worker behind the counter said "Your timing is excellent. We Just got a job opening from a very wealthy old man who wants a chauffeur and bodyguard for his beautiful daughter. You'll have to drive around in his 2012 Mercedes-Benz CL, and he will supply all of your clothes."
"Because of The long hours, meals will be provided. You'll also be expected to escort the daughter on her overseas holiday trips. This is rather awkward to say But you will also have, as part of your job, the assignment to satisfy her sexual urges as the daughteris in her mid-20's and has a rather strong sex drive."
The guy, just plain wide-eyed, said, "You're bullshittin' me!"
The social worker said, "Yeah, well... You started it." .....

Welfare should be for those who really need it. Maybe a good start would be mandatory drug testing to deter those who try to ride the system. If you have nothing to hide, there should be no objections - it would be a little inconvenience for the ones who are honest, but it would REALLY start to help clean up the system.

Welfare SHOULD BE there for those who are honest and need it, not for those who don't. The people that ride the system that are in good health, and can work like the rest of us have to are the ones that are causing the overload. You,( I assume) I and most of the readers of this thread are covering their butts every time we get paid. Yes, that's our taxes at work.
BTW, I too have good folks I know on welfare as well, one aunt and an older friend who worked until their bodies gave out.
So don't give me your BS, If people are doping but can make it to work- their choice, their life. If they are doping and expect me to pay for it- that's different, that money is not free and yes I would rather give it to someone who is just getting by or has a child or relative who is in need of care or to someone who has a debilitating disease.
By the way, my own mother worked until she was 75 and then quit her job to take care of my father. If this 5ft tall 100lb 75 year old woman can make it to work every day, why can't the folks in good health that are in their 30's and 40's do the same?

I have known good people who have had to turn to welfare. You offend the PHUCK out of me PHUCK YOU
merv, i used to think your rants were alcohol induced, but now i just think you have a huge chip on your shoulder about something (not sure what). welfare is a safety net for people who truly need it. it is being abused and you me and everybody on this forum end up paying for it. it's been turned into a lifestyle by illegals and others squeezing out as many babies as they can. the one good thing Clinton did was the "welfare reform act"...guess who repealed it??? that's right, you guessed it prez obumer. we're all entitled to our opinions here and if you don't like something you see....change the channel brother.
