Im going to swap my ST300 for a TH350 in my "69" FB, ive read that they are pretty much a straight swap. I have a B&M shifter, recond TH350 and Torque converter, is there anything else needed, will the yoke be the same and do i need to do anything with the carb (qjet) for the TV cable(? )
Bolts right in. You will need to do something about the kickdown cable if you want it to work. It's not a TV cable, so you can kick it down manually if you don't want to mess with it. You also need a vacuum line for the modulator (full manifold vacuum).
Yes you'll need a kickdown cable, Ialso did the swap too awhile back and I have never regretted it. Lokar makes the components you'll need. The vacuum Modulator goes on the throttle body front, full vac. The drive shaft is the same even the yoke, the splines match up. I was amazed it just bolts up.
