So when I put the key in the ignition and turn it seems just go to the stopping point yet no crank. I don't feel that spring loaded position after acc. It seam to just turn and stop. Bad tumbler? Or is it time look within the column?
Assume 69? There's a rod that runs down the column to the switch that is operated by a gear attached to the lock assembly. Reach around the top of the column and see if the rod is moving when you turn the key. If not, could be the gear. If so, could be the switch. If the screws holding the switch to the column are loose, the switch will slide and also cause the problem.
