I am converting from auto to manual and plan on putting an M20 behind a 455 in my 69 bird. Can anybody confirm the correct crossmember for an M20 muncie, the crossmember i have is part # 9795681. Any help appreciated, did an online search but cant seem to nail this down with certainty.
In the library of The First Gen Site, Pontiac numeric Parts index, Pontiac Chassis Group 7.000, Frame springs bumpers group 7.011 there is five for 69 for the various Pontiacs. I think Firebirds are code 37. Yours should be one of those if you can tell how to read the codes for your car.
