pontiac and chevy disc spindles are slightly different but should be interchangeable. The lower bolt holes for the steering arm on one are larger than the other but are otherwise the same as far as i know.
the caliper mounting bracket was the same part # for both spindles 69 f,x,a 70-72 x,a,g 72-74 x.
the spindles were the same part on the pontiac 67-69f, 70-72a/g the rest took the chevy spindles.
the 67-69 firebird and camaro used the same ball joints.
I believe there are different length steering arms attached and these unbolt. There was a large variety of combinations of steering arm length, pitman arm length and steering box ratio. Be sure you have the correct steering arm length when you move things around.
As someone said in the other thread, be sure you're not buying B bodys stuff. There are folks on eBay selling brake kits who say "it should fit" and it's wrong parts. Buyer beware.
The different length arms and box ratios is supposed to be a Camaro thing, but in 35 years, who knows what could be on a car?
I have also read of issues where people had to deepen the top bolt hole for the bracket/backing plate upper bolt, but they may have been dealing with modified drum spindles.
