Ok, so I read that '69 th350 and th400 birds have this feature. Anyone care to let me in on how it works?

if you're talking about the shifter, when you hold the shifter to the right when upshifting, the shifter will only move one position. (floorshift that is)

So say I'm in low. If I pull it to the right it will only go up one gear? Do I need to push the shifter button as well?

only need to push the button for downshift

Pull it all the way back for first. Then when you want to shift, push forward and to the right and it stops at second. Let up on the shifter and you push forward and to the right and it stops in 3rd (drive). I've got one in my 69 goat. No button pushing required.

So a novelty for us 2 barrel 350 bone stock guys?
