For those of you that don't live in the Southwest deserts, the start of training camp means that we have about 6 more weeks of brutal summer weather. So, in about six weeks, the top can come down and enjoyable cruising can commence.
Just look at it like it's the desert version of GroundHog Day.

Heck, in six weeks up here we will be tucking the birds away for winter.

A week ago it was so hot and humid here we couldn't be outside. Now we are flirting with record low temps. They say some burbs could get into the upper 40s at night.
Car show today and I like the cool (65 a forecast high). It is a lot better than roasting walking around a parking lot in the upper 80s or 90s.
And the Bears are in camp at Bourbonnais. New coach. Go Bears.
It was an interesting car show. There was a '75 Yenko Firebird there, a one-of-one. I had never heard of Yenko anything but Chevy. And there was a very nice '69 TA survivor with just 55k miles on it.
A lot of nice cars but that '69 and my '68 were the only 1st gen Firebirds at the local Chevy dealership American Muscle show.
