Can someone decode my build sheet and invoice for me? I can't figure out the following:
41 - pedal trim (gas, parking brake, accelerator?) 43 = 1 = Custom belts. How do these differ from standard? Where is the code for deluxe door panels? 45 = 3 = ? (build sheet has "V" in box 45, is that related? 53 = 2 = Soft Ray glass Windshield only. Is this the stripe across the top of the window or is the glass a greenish color versus clear? 55 = 4 = ? 61 = 6 = ? 71 = H = ? 72 = D = ? 73 = 1? = Safe T Track? 74 = H = ? 75 = W = ? 76 = U = ? 77 = F = ? 78 = 4
Build Sheet: What does "#" mean on the build sheet? "." = standard option? 34 Courtesy Lamp "#" is that under hood? Glove box? 45 O/S Mirror "V", is that the driver side only? What does 55 Steering Wheel "YA" mean? Is that the wheel with the smoked top or solid color? What is 65 Air Cleaner "LK" Group 5 68 = Y? Can someone decode the Groups? 96 Radiator "UQ", how can I check to see if I have the right radiator? Did this car have the chrome/aluminum door edge guards? I'm assuming this car had Rally II's since it says JC in box 111, full size spare, white line tires?

I'll answer what I know and can see on my 67 PHS documents
Your car was invoiced 7 days after mine.
61-6 No info, but I have this on my Billing History, too
71/72 = HD = E-70X14 White Stripe tires
73-1 is indeed a Safe T Track rear axle
74, No info, mine has an "F"
75/76 appears to be the 2 letter engine code (YT on mine)
Build sheet codes in many cases refer to codes on the item themselves, for instance color coded tags, that told the line workers which component to put on the car.

Not to hijack the posting but for 1967 does that mean he should expect the serial number 662798 on the engine block if the engine is original.

75 is W & 76 is U. These letters should be on the front of your engine block "WU" with the engine unit "66792_".
The WU means your car should be a 400, 4-speed with AIR (not to be confused with A/C. AIR means it was built for California with our wacky emissions laws). This is consistent with a Zone 24 (Los Angeles) and a dealer code 321 for Superior Pontiac in Monterey Park, CA. Funny, this is about 20 minutes from me.

Thank you for the info. I had always assumed that the Engine ID on the Body Broadcast was the serial number on the engine. However, when I saw the numbers were different on the Goat Abuser's literature, I thought I would ask.
In an effort to not totally hijack this thread, the Radiator Code will be on the passenger side of the radiator between the core and the side tank. It's like a 1.25" x 1.25" tag with rather large lettering.

Thanks for the help guys. Never put it together that the W, U in separate boxes was the block code. Mine is a WU with a.i.r. from CA. The serial number was stamped in the top of the muncie case. I have not checked the block serial number, but I'm almost positive it does match.
Is Superior Pontiac still around?
I need to check my radiator and see if I have the right one now, thanks.
Can anyone help with the rest of the codes?

I have not checked the block serial number, but I'm almost positive it does match.
Is Superior Pontiacs till around?
I need to check my radiator and see if I have the right one now, thanks. I have not checked the block serial number, but I'm almost positive it does match. Gots to check to be sure, too many years between for someone to change things... obviously your finding that out. Is Superior Pontiac still around? Really? LMAO.. they dont sell pontiacs anymore... NO! Maybe under a different name, but it isnt called "Superior Pontiac" I need to check my radiator and see if I have the right one now, thanks. If all the tags are missing, you will have a hard time telling if it is the original.

A lot of Pontiac dealers just became Buick/GMC/Jeep dealers. I meant, is there still a dealership of some kind at that location. Would be neat to see where it was purchased from.
I'm pretty sure my block has the Serial number 154180. Its at the body shop right now so I can't check.
I'm not sure what the 667928 engine unit number is. I think the number was miss quoted above which is why I was confused.
No one else can help identify the remaining codes above?
Can anyone tell me if my car had a fixed fan or a thermostat clutch/fan?

Hokie, which numbers are you saying don't match in my case? I wasn't questioning your numbers but had a general question. If you look at the bottom of the Body Broadcast sheet there is a number assocated with the Motor Division. I had assumed that was the Engine Serial Number. When I saw that your PHS engine number and this number were different, I thought I would ask.

Build Sheet: What does "#" mean on the build sheet? "." = standard option? Group 5 68 = Y? Can someone decode the Groups? 96 Radiator "UQ", how can I check to see if I have the right radiator? # means the car received that part/option. . means it didn't. The groups aren't all the same, but here most are: http://www.camaros.org/numbers.shtml#67Codes 3F is a 400 code. Rads: http://www.camaros.org/coolingsystems.shtml#tag
