Question..
69 Bird with an AM/FM 8 track setup wouldn't have had a dash/center speaker since they had 2 kick panel units and rear package speaks. Did the factory use a delete plate under the speaker grille as a louver cover, or just leave it open?

Not sure, but my coupe did not have a center speaker only the kick panels and no "plate" in the center
