I don't have a show car, but there's a cruise-in I'm planning to take it to this week, just for fun. I put armor-all on the interior tonight, and it showed streaks in a few places. Anyone know why this may have happened? This happened last time also. Before the armor-all coating, I used the armor-all cleaner on it, so it shouldn't have been due to dirt. It doesn't look too bad, but I was just curious why it may have happened.
Any other ideas about what I can do to make it look good would be appreciated too. Such as for the chrome, would wax be best or should I clean it up with windex?
Is there much that can be done for the little pits that are staring to form on the chrome?
I like using old school cleaning products and methods for my FB. Not sure what the Armor All Cleaner is but I use the "Original Formula" stuff on the interior and it looks great with no streaks. Still use it on the tires as well.
As fr chrome I have always used the cheap but affective Turtle Wax Chrome Polish. It will remove anything that it supposed to cme off, create a nice shine if there is one left, and leave a protective coat behind.
