Hi guys and gals...back working on my son's '67 coupe and have a couple questions...
Installing new front springs...can anybody tell me what the aprox. correct ride height should be, measured from the floor to the bottom of the front crossmember. (326 w/factory air)
also...is the 326 HO air cleaner the same as the 400 air cleaner...?
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. My air cleaner is a 400 with California emissions, which means it had an "ugly snorkel". The top plate was chrome though...not sure this answers the question though for the OP.

...well I might be stuck with the "ugly snorkle" since I'm aiming to give it a mostly stock/original appearance. I have a feeling the louvered 400 cleaner is a lot pricier and harder to find too.

hmmm...I have a really ugly snorkle air cleaner I think was original to the car...it was in the trunk....but it has a 2BBL base plate (car was orig 2bbl).
