about to embark on the next step of my project which is replacing quarter panels. What is the easiest way(other than breaking the glass) to remove the rear window? I have heard that using a heat gun and carefully getting the beetle tape hot and pushing it out is the correct way. any tips or tricks??
Feed some bailing wire thru to the outside and have a friend help to go around the window in a sawing motion. As you go around you can place in some paint mix sticks to keep the window from settling back down on the butyl
Piano wire and two vice grips. One inside, and one outside in a sawing motion as described. It a lot of fun..
