My carb rebuilder tells me the thick base gasket for my '67 AFB is no longer available. He gave me a thin (1/16") gasket with my rebuild.

Is there a source for the thicker gasket so I don't have to modify the hard lines connected to the carb?

I plugged "gasket material" into a search engine, and there were a bezillion hits. I wonder about your carb rebuilder. Sorry, but I get on this automotive mechanic bit sometimes. They are crooks, you know, so I don't understand the problem. After all, "They don't make gaskets for it, but for x amount, I can make you one." Alas, they are a half @$$ed lot too.

The correct thickness gasket comes in the better repair kits. Don't know anywhere it is available separately.
