How cool is that Harold!! Is this the original color of the car? It's awesome to see your car taking shape.
I hope to start mine next year...
Any information you have on the restoration would be great info to have!

I finally realized why that color appeals to me after viewing your message thread and the other recent Aegena Blue one.
It's a dead ringer for the Vista Blue on my '06 Mustang.

Thanks. The picture was taking 1/2 way through the clear coating. It had two more coats of clear after the pictures were taken. Today the painter is painting the rest of the body.
I wont be able to get back down to see it until Saturday. He'll shoot me a photo this evening.
Looks like a bunch of birds will be hitting the street this spring, we may have to meet up in Chicago with the Midwest club. Wanting it done. (My bird) Gordy
Man what a gorgeous looking Firebird! Do you guys ever get to the point where you want one in every color you like? Not enough garage space! That looks like a fantastic project, I can't wait to see it when it's finished.
Gordy, I hope some of you do come down this way over the summer or we meet somewhere in Wisconsin with the Midwest Firebirds club - putting it together has been so much fun.
Here is 24 hours of wet sanding. We hand sanded with 1200,2000 and 3000. We have 1/2 the car left of final sand of 3000. Then buffing. We still have not started sanding the hood or trunk yet.
