Still putting together the exterior of the 67 after the new paint. The dog shredded the new weather stripping, so I'm awaiting the replacements. Does anyone have any experience in repairing the crack in the small section of the front grills, as I'm having a hard time shelling out for more rubber parts to replace what the dog obliterated in less than an hour. Brent
JB Weld works well on fixing cracks in plastic parts. I used it a lot on my center console. It also sands down easily.

I'm a #1 fan of good ol' jb and recomend it for all types of repairs. In this case, however, I leave jb on the shelf and would use model glue. Jb just pukeys the plastic together. Model glue melts the plastic, thus fuses it.
Clamping tip for hard to hold together peices: Run the line of glue and leave an area in the break free of model glue, and use a a dab of crazy glue or hot glue in that area to act as a tack while the glue dries.
