I tried some searches and could not get anything on this. Does anyone know if they fit? A seller on ebay says it will but needs some mods to the neutral/reverse switch?

Yes it will. I relocated my neutral safety switch and had to modify the shaft a little by grinding a flat spot so the T-handle would fit. That's about it. The housing has the same bolt patterns to fit your tranny tunnel.
Here's the side by side difference of a 68 shifter (left) and 69 slap stick

Just curious, why you would have to relocate your NSS? I have a 69 and I put a 2004R in it and had to move my NSS from the steering column to the slapstick housing since the rod linkage from the tranny to the column wouldnt work with a overdrive tranny. Got my NSS conversion for my slapstick at Shiftworks. Is the console smaller in a 68 then the 69 console?

I relocated it because the slapstick didn't have the tabs that the NSS screwed into. I also bought the American autowire upgrade kit that relocates the NSS to the shift linkage on the TH400. Console is the same size 68 or 69

Ok, I understand, that makes sense. Since you go tthe upgraded wiring kitm did you get a kit to mount the NSS on the slapstick?

No, there isn't a place to mount it. I believe in 69 they moved the NSS off the shifter. I do like the slapstick over the 68 because you can "bump" it for faster shifts. I also did the shift kit which will keep the gears in 1st or 2nd if you have it in that gear until it's shifted. If in Drive, it will shift automatically. Negative to this though is that it could get bumped into 2nd or 1st while going 60 mph in 3rd.

Really? I thought as you bump it just progresses up the gears. Once in 3 rd it can be bumped down? not sure I want that.

Yes, the 69 moved the NSS to the steering colummn, I was saying before in this topic that I put a 2004R in my 69 and the park, neutral saftey linkage from the tranny to steering column doesnt fit and you have to move the NSS to the slap shifter to almost the exact same place as the 68 to get the NSS to work properly. They make a kit so you can install the NSS to the slapstick at SHIFTWORKS , Check it out in that link, incase your interested.
I dont know if the shift cable you currently have will still work with the slap shifter. The NSS location is I am thinking up to you since Colorado stated that he moved his somewhere else and it obviously works. Shiftworks looks to have all this available to keep the NSS down on the shifter, but I would call them PH: 702-895-6812, and tell them exactly what your changing from and going to and that you have a 69 shifter and ask them because I dont know what the difference is between the ST300 and TH350 besides gears. The guy there is very helpful and will be able to tell you what you need or dont need to make everything mesh together correctly.
Doh! I just checked my 81 Z28 shifter that I kept after replacing it with a B&M for the ratchet function. It has the bump slap ratchet function!!! I had no idea!
