Looking at a 1968 Firebird. It has a 400 YE block, but a standard hood (no scoops). It's badged as a 400, but I think it was originally at 350. How can I tell without running the PHS (they're closed).

Looks like you have a 400!! If you get the other num beside the YE code (engine block) and the VIN you can verify if it num matching that car.
My car is a 400 HO and it has a 350 hood. Accident years ago wrecked the hood (not me).
