what is the safe zone {temp wise} for running a modified 400 engine in the summer.? confused

I have same, and when it goes over 200 the electric fan on the radiator kicks in. Obviously you would not want to exceed 200-220 for any length of time. Try and keep it below 200 at all times if possible, in my opinion.

180-220 is safe. As nash said....don't exceed 220 for any length of time.
